Eleonora Molnar is an associate faculty member in the Faculty of Management at Royal Roads University, instructing “The Business of Sustainability”. In 2000, she co-facilitated the on-line delivery of the School’s MBA 535 Sustainability course. She graduated from the RRU MEM program in 2000 and can well appreciate the elation and challenges associated with RRU’s fast-paced learning environment.

Eleonora Molnar is an independent consultant specializing in sustainability, organizational learning, and community development. She has worked in the field of sustainability for 10 years and has held positions in corporate, academic, and non-profit settings. She is especially interested in community engagement, public consultation, and coaching as it relates to sustainability. Eleonora currently works for the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority on the Sunshine Coast as a community developer. In this role she advocates the population health approach, acts as a liaison between the Health Authority and the public, and endeavors to build social capital in the community.

Eleonora co-chairs the Area E-Planning Commission and is on the granting committee of the Sunshine Coast Community Foundation. Recently she completed the Sunshine Coast Report Card for a Sustainable Community and is working toward co-creating a shared mental model of how to balance economic, social, and environmental needs on the Coast.
