Alvana Inc. is an international management consulting firm specializing in helping organizations to reach their corporate goals by operating more effectively.
He has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, both as a consultant and as an executive in financial institutions. Prior to founding Alvana Inc., Michele owned and operated a large insurance agency in Italy and also spent time managing the Wealth Management Division of a Canadian Credit Union.
Michele is considered particularly skilled in managing relationships and helping companies during the difficult challenges of change. He is a strong, enthusiastic motivator, bringing a high level of integrity to the services he offers his clients.
Michele believes in a holistic approach to business management where business solutions are achieved with a mixed approach that blends the study/understanding of processes and economics with people (50 per cent).
He believes in creating and sustaining the environment(s) necessary to promote the creation and sharing of knowledge. It is, in essence, a learning organization that supports the strategic goals and objectives of an organization.

Career highlights:
Michele’s experience lies in strategic business planning with a focus on international development. His past industry sector experience includes the natural resources and forestry sectors.
Michele has worked with private and public corporations. One of his most recent accomplishments is the successful completion of a strategic business plan for a consortium of natural resources consultants, government agency and university departments which focused on promoting Canadian knowledge and skills internationally.
Michele has completed an MBA in Executive Management at Royal Roads University and holds the following designations: Certified Investment Manager (CIM), Fellow of Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Trusts Specialist (STI), and Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
In September of 2006, Michele began his PhD in Human and Organizational Systems with Fielding University in Santa Barbara, California, USA.
He is a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC) and is one of the directors of the Fellow Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) National Council.
Michele has also completed the “E-Learning Facilitator” and a “Instructional Skills Workshop Plus” (ISW+) certificates from Royal Roads University.
